About Allen Haugrud

Education and Qualifications

Allen Haugrud grew up on a dairy farm near Pelican Rapids and graduated from high school there. Allen's undergraduate degree was from Moorhead State, and his law degree was from the University of Minnesota Law School.

Allen is licensed to practice in the Minnesota State Courts system and the US District Court, which includes the bankruptcy court.

Participating in the Community

Allen has been active in the community, previously serving on United Way, YMCA, and Coalition of Lakes Associations boards, including terms as president of all three. Allen was also co-chair of the United Way annual campaign for one year.

In addition, Allen's spare time includes watching the local basketball teams, biking, distance running, gardening, and staying active outdoors.
